Christopher Tantillo, AIA
Principal & Owner
Christopher has been practicing architecture for over twenty years and founded Tantillo Architecture in 2007. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Grinnell College and his Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and has since received numerous design awards. Recognized as a dynamic and knowledgeable leader in architecture, Christopher has overseen the design of signature projects throughout the United States including projects in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, Missouri and South Carolina.
Prior to starting Tantillo Architecture, Christopher worked for Hillier Architecture (RMJM/Hillier) in Philadelphia, PA. Christopher is a participating member of the American Institute of Architects, United States Green Building Council, International Interior Design Association and is registered with this National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is currently licensed in PA, NJ, NY, CO, MO, NC and SC.
Chris Reed, AIA LEEP A.P.
Senior Project Architect
Chris Reed has over twenty years of experience practicing architecture and interior design an obtained his Master of Architecture from Syracuse University. His broad-based experience in corporate interiors, hospitality, higher education, and historic renovation project provides him the knowledge foundation for evaluative, innovative design solutions.
Chris is a thoughtful listener and client advocate, and he carefully considers design and technical options in the effort to meet project and budget requirements. Chris specializes in interior detailing, and enjoys collaborating with clients, consultants, and colleagues and he is a supportive mentor to more junior coworkers.
Prior to joining Tantillo Architecture, Chris worked for Jacobs, Daroff Design, and RMHM. A longtime resident of the Clark Park neighborhood of West Philadelphia, Chris is passionate about architectural history, sustainability, and the vibrancy of cities.
Billy received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Duke University in 2012, where he received various honors and furthered his passion for building. He went on to receive his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015.
Billy believes that architecture is meant to serve people, and that it should constantly evolve in order to make our ever-changing way of life more efficient and more enjoyable. Billy enjoys traveling and exploring cities, always observing how our environment shapes us, and how we choose to shape it in return.
Katie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design from Marywood University in 2014. During her undergraduate work, she completed 6 months of study at the International Studies Institute in Florence, Italy She went on to earn her Masters of Arts in Interior Architecture and Design in 2015, and completed her thesis work on “Inhabiting the Uninhabitable”, with focus on creating the interface between people and uninhabitable space. In 2016 she completed training and received certification as a LEED Green Associate.
Prior to joining Tantillo, Katie worked for BSB Design in Warminster PA. Outside of work, Katie loves to travel, and has enjoyed many trips across various countries around the globe.
