A high-end custom light fixture and furniture manufacturer brought TA on to evaluate a multi-story overbuild for live/work apartment above an existing maker space. Additional maker spaces were designed within a connected manufacturing space by dropping the existing floor level down and inserting a new second floor mezzanine. A large skylight was placed within the center of the two-story space, creating a desirable work environment with ample natural light.
