Located in the iconic Wynwood Walls art installation precinct, Double Knot brings the acclaimed sushi and robatayaki cuisine of Michael Schulson to this vibrant corner of Miami.  The existing one-story restaurant shell is to remain with its iconic Kenny Scharf mural wrapping around the courtyard face while the inside is transformed into an eclectic merger of post industrial and art deco themes woven together with Asian influenced patterns and textures.

The main dining room is illuminated by industrial styled factory skylight fixtures and from a new cast glass panel of amber bricks slotted into the chamfered building corner.

Through a new grand opening cut into the existing masonry wall, the dining room connects to a sophisticated lounge bookended by a heavily figured marble bar stretching across the expanse of the rear wall.

Outdoor rooftop dining was explored as a way to provide a prominent perch to view the multitude of wall murals from an elevated and unique vantage point.
