The interior of PHR is a layered experience that pulls inspiration from the robust machinery that once filled Turbine Hall. Swept away by the metaphorical tidal waters of the Delaware river, the primal shapes of the turbines and boilers are reintroduced in a bold assemblage on an elevated deck, now reimagined as TURBINE PARK. The park’s modern architecture is counterbalanced with the symmetrical neoclassical structure that encloses it. Nods to the post-industrial site sculpture are found in the shapes formed with natural materials and clean lines. The design invites visitors to explore, offering glimpses that reveal more of the space’s story.  The materials are used in their purest forms, celebrating craftsmanship and the beauty of natural imperfections that add depth to the design.
